Adrian Rhines
BA, Applied Behavioral Science | Canine Training & Behavior Modification Specialist
Effective dog training is about more than "knowing dogs" — it's about understanding the science behind why they behave the way they do. Where many trainers rely on guesswork or outdated theory, Adrian's methods are built on a foundation of Applied Behavioral Science. His degree gives him the framework to analyze the root causes behind aggression, anxiety, and severe reactivity — not just suppress the symptoms.
The dog that started it all. After ten years of military service, Adrian returned home and adopted a stubborn, high-energy shelter puppy that challenged everything he thought he knew about communication. That experience pushed him past traditional "commands" and into the deeper mechanics of behavior — turning a personal challenge into a professional mission.
Discipline without the "macho." Adrian has no interest in old-school, force-based training. His military background shaped his sense of discipline and accountability, but his academic training shapes his methods. The goal is never to "break" a dog — it's clear, consistent communication that helps dogs understand what's expected of them while building trust and stability.
Formal training. Adrian completed the intensive Professional Dog Trainer & Behavior Specialist program at Starmark Academy, an 8-week, state-licensed vocational program in Texas and one of the most demanding professional dog training programs in the country. Combined with 1,000+ hours of hands-on experience with dogs of every temperament, this gives him both the scientific grounding and the practical skill to solve difficult behavioral problems.
What he specializes in. Adrian takes on the cases many trainers avoid — severe reactivity, dangerous aggression, and complex behavioral issues that go far beyond basic obedience. By combining behavioral science with real-world experience, he helps owners regain control, rebuild trust with their dogs, and create safer environments for their families and communities.
Kasey Rhines
BS, Business Management | Director of Operations & Community Outreach
Kasey is the strategic lead and Director of Operations for Dynamic Good Dog. As co-founder, she ensures our behavioral expertise is matched by exceptional client support and professional organization.
While Adrian focuses on the science of the dog, Kasey focuses on the success and education of the human client. As lead for all client consultations, she's the first point of contact for families in behavioral crisis — translating complex training goals into clear, manageable plans for the home. Her management background ensures every family gets a disciplined, seamless experience from intake to graduation.
Beyond the training floor, Kasey drives our community outreach — coordinating educational events and partnerships with local schools and youth organizations, and donating training services where she can. Her goal: making Fernley a safer, more educated community for dogs and the people who love them.
